Wood River Middle School Robotics Team headed to World Championship in St. Louis Missouri

Wood River Middle School robotics teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Idaho VEX State Robotics Championship on Friday, February 27 in Nampa Idaho. Six WRMS teams qualified for the state tournament, showcasing the strength and depth of the school’s growing robotics program.

Highlighting the event, the team of Jake Blacker and Jesse Green earned a coveted invitation to
the VEX World Robotics Competition in late April. They will be one of just five teams from
Idaho selected to represent the state on the world stage in St. Louis in May. VEX Robotics
Competitions are internationally recognized events where student teams design, build, and
program robots to compete in challenges that test creativity, engineering skills, and teamwork.

In additional honors for Wood River Middle School, the team of Amadeusz Tron and Weston
Randall brought home the prestigious Judges Award, recognizing their strong engineering
process, collaboration, and overall performance.

The success of these students reflects the dedication, innovation, and hard work of Wood River
Middle School’s robotics program and continues to build pride across the Blaine County
community. Please help support the WRMS Robotics Team to attend the World Robotics
Competition in St. Louis this April at the following Crowdfunding Site:
