This is my twenty-fifth year teaching technology including yearbook and photography. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Oregon and a Master’s degree in Education from Pacific University. I further pursued my interest in technology education at Southern Utah University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I earned a Technology endorsement for grades K–8. My teaching focuses on developing digital literacy, problem-solving skills, and responsible technology use among students. Outside of teaching, I enjoy photography, video editing, hiking, biking, skiing, home repair projects, and spending time with my husband and son. I am also a long-time fan of the University of Oregon Ducks. Go Ducks!

Este es mi vigésimo quinto año impartiendo clases de tecnología, incluyendo la edición del anuario y la fotografía. Cuento con una Licenciatura en Ciencias con especializaciones en Psicología y Sociología por la Universidad de Oregón, así como con una Maestría en Educación por la Pacific University. Continué profundizando mi interés en la educación tecnológica en la Southern Utah University y en la Universidad de Nevada, Las Vegas, donde obtuve una certificación en Tecnología para los grados K–8. Mi labor docente se centra en fomentar la alfabetización digital, las habilidades de resolución de problemas y el uso responsable de la tecnología entre los estudiantes. Fuera del ámbito educativo, disfruto de la fotografía, la edición de video, el senderismo, el ciclismo, el esquí, los proyectos de reparación del hogar y pasar tiempo con mi esposo y mi hijo. También soy un seguidor de toda la vida de los Ducks de la Universidad de Oregón. ¡Vamos, Ducks!

I have been teaching Technology, Engineering, and Robotics at Wood River Middle School since 2005. I am the Robotics team coach and mentor. I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors in my spare time.
