I was born and raised in the Wood River Valley and attended Wood River Middle School as a student. After graduating from the University of Denver, I found my passion for Special Education while working as an instructional assistant and later as a Lead Teacher at a school for students with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. I moved back home to Hailey in 2022 and am currently the Extended Resource Room teacher at Wood River Middle School. In my role, I support students with diverse learning needs by helping them build academic skills, support regulation, and build independence within daily routines while also working closely with families and staff to ensure students feel supported and successful at school. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and pets. I’m passionate about being outdoors—whether that’s camping, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, dog walking, spending time at the river, or gardening. On the weekends, you’ll usually find me catching up with friends, reading a good book or soaking up the sunshine.

Nací y crecí en el Valle de Wood River, y fui estudiante en la Escuela Secundaria Wood River. Tras graduarme de la Universidad de Denver, descubrí mi pasión por la Educación Especial mientras trabajaba como asistente de instrucción y, posteriormente, como maestro titular en una escuela para estudiantes con autismo y discapacidades del desarrollo. Regresé a mi hogar en Hailey en 2022 y, actualmente, me desempeño como maestro del Aula de Recursos Extendidos en la Escuela Secundaria Wood River. En mi función, brindo apoyo a estudiantes con diversas necesidades de aprendizaje, ayudándoles a desarrollar habilidades académicas, a fomentar su autorregulación y a ganar independencia en sus rutinas diarias; al mismo tiempo, trabajo en estrecha colaboración con las familias y el personal escolar para asegurar que los estudiantes se sientan respaldados y exitosos en la escuela. Fuera del ámbito escolar, disfruto pasar tiempo con mis amigos, mi familia y mis mascotas. Me apasiona estar al aire libre, ya sea acampando, haciendo senderismo, practicando excursionismo con mochila, caminando con raquetas de nieve, paseando a mi perro, pasando tiempo junto al río o dedicándome a la jardinería. Los fines de semana, por lo general me encontrarán poniéndome al día con mis amigos, leyendo un buen libro o disfrutando del sol.
