Kari and her family recently moved to the Wood River Valley from Seattle, WA. Kari has been an elementary and special education teacher for 15 years. She completed her undergraduate work at The Evergreen State College and received her Masters in Teaching from the University of Washington. Through teaching, Kari loves to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, but most of all, to help her students feel successful as life-learners. Kari and her husband have spent a lot of time in the Wood River Valley and are excited to now call it home. She loves to spend time being active in the outdoors with her friends, family, and yellow lab.

Kari y su familia se mudaron recientemente al Wood River Valley desde Seattle, Washington. Kari ha sido maestra de educación primaria y especial durante 15 años. Realizó sus estudios de pregrado en The Evergreen State College y obtuvo su maestría en docencia en la Universidad de Washington. A través de la enseñanza, a Kari le encanta ayudar a sus alumnos a crecer en los ámbitos académico, social y emocional, pero, sobre todo, ayudarles a sentirse exitosos como aprendices de la vida. Kari y su esposo han pasado mucho tiempo en el Wood River Valley y están entusiasmados de poder llamarlo ahora su hogar. Le encanta pasar tiempo realizando actividades al aire libre junto a sus amigos, su familia y su labrador amarillo.
